Design Director

We have teamed with an incredible Boutique Branding Agency based in Dubai. They started their journey around 5 years ago and already have a strong global presence. They are known for their expertise in Hospitality Branding. They are seeking a highly talented Design Director to work with the CEO and Founder to drive both the creative output and commercial side of the business. This role requires a unique blend of creative prowess, leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of branding and design. You will have a strong portfolio demonstrating successful projects in various sectors, including hospitality, property, well-being, and lifestyle.

The role:

-Translating client briefs into project requirements.

-Planning and facilitating client and team meetings/workshops.

-Creating strategic directions and positioning for brands.

-Leveraging branding knowledge to create remarkable brands.

-Overseeing brand identity concept generation and execution.

-Emphasis storytelling in brand creation.

-Staying updated with industry trends.

-Providing inspiration and art direction to the Brand team.

-Reviewing and signing off on all Brand team production work.

-Supporting, mentoring, and reviewing team members.

-Project management and scheduling of the Brand team's workflow.

-Business acumen to balance design and profitability.

-Developing and maintaining client relationships.

-Contributing to new business activities and client acquisition.

-Speaking at events to promote the agency.

-Reporting to the leadership team on team performance and growth initiatives.

-Writing blogs, thought leadership pieces, and project case studies.

-Responsible for key client accounts and fostering lasting relationships.

-Strategic recruitment and growth of the Brand team.

You:

-Incredible skill in ideas and concept generation

-Strong portfolio filled with Brand strategy and identity creation.

-Experience in Copywriting and tone of voice creation.

-Creative development, including logos and visuals.

-Luxury Art and photography direction.

-Strong experience working with campaign-related graphic material creation.

-Designing communication packages and environmental graphics.

-Designing uniforms and packaging.

-Designing responsive website interfaces and e-commerce apps.

This opportunity is based in Dubai, you will be working in their studio 4 days per week and 1 day from home.

The salary is 33,000AED per month
