Established in 1970, Designhouse is a ‘family’ of creative, like-minded people who, above all, love good design. Based in central London, Designhouse delivers creative solutions that help our clients achieve maximum impact and business success. We work with start-ups through to multinationals, across multiple industry sectors.
We’re currently looking for a talented Mid-Weight Designer to join our London studio, who will strive to deliver our high standards, go the extra mile and contribute to our highly respected work for global brands. Your portfolio is just as important as your personality and fit – becoming part of the Designhouse family means you gain experience working with great brands, businesses and people where you can grow and develop amongst a like-minded driven, creative team.
The Designhouse fit means you need to be open natured, good-humoured and contribute to a buzzing studio atmosphere. Someone who can add personality, culture, creativity and is a stickler for detail when it comes to delivering the highest standards in work. You are passionate, open to ideas, organised and able to think on your feet. You will need to add value and contribute original thinking. In turn you will feel challenged, developed and rewarded for your efforts.
You will report directly in to the Design Director, expected to deliver and present creative concepts and design development internally. You will deliver against objectives and on deadline, able to manage your own time and oversee the time of those around you.
Experience and Skills
You have strong experience (3 years +) working with corporate brands at reputable brand/design agency(s). You will have a good understanding of the clients businesses you have worked with and the value of your design in their operations.
You have a portfolio demonstrating beautifully crafted brand identity, print collateral and digital design (you don’t need to be a technologist but some knowledge and understanding will be an advantage).
You are confident in your approach and thinking. Produce big-thinking, beautifully crafted and award winning creative ideas for serious businesses.
You enjoy building relationships and meeting new people – have strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills with clear goals and problem solving techniques.
You are happy to work as part of a team and understand the importance of collaboration with colleagues and clients. You are motivated, dedicated, willing to go above and beyond, adaptable and resourceful. You have your finger on the pulse of the industry and can bring insight and inspiration from around you.
