Mid-weight/Senior Interior Designer

We are looking for a new mid-weight or senior designer to join our award-winning international interior design and architectural studio in Weybridge. Hill House Interiors’ Directors, Helen & Jenny are supported by a 25+ strong team of designers and interior architects, together we are a flourishing design practice that creates interiors that embodies the best in British and European design, our signature look of ‘Modern Luxury’ blends our impeccable attention to detail with layers of texture and innovative materials.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Work as part of both UK and international projects from concept to completion
  • Sourcing and producing schedules for products and materials within budget
  • Produce professional mood boards for client presentations
  • Responsible for multiple projects from conceptual development through to installation and styling
  • Produce accurate technical drawings, plans and schemes
  • Working in a team whilst managing projects independently
  • Keeping current with new developments and design trends
  • Source and schedule furniture, fittings and materials of the highest quality
  • Liaise with clients and manage installation
 Key requirements:

  • Degree in Interior Design/Interior Architecture
  • Minimum of 4 years experience, preferably with some FF&E
  • Comprehensive understanding of the full design process
  • Experience in monitoring projects from concept to completion
  • Strong technical drawing 
  • Sourcing and procuring FF&E with a strong knowledge of FF&E suppliers
  • Ability to work in high pressured environments to meet deadlines
  • Computer literate, being proficent in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop), Mircosoft Office and EstiPC would be an advantage
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team on multiple projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication, whether dealing with clients or suppliers
  • Ability to visualise concepts and communicate ideas.
  • A great eye for design with strong 3D and spatial awareness
Salary and work schedule:

  • Salary of between £38,000 and £50,000 dependent on experience
  • Full time, 37.5 hours a week office open from 9:00am till 6:00pm
