At the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, we are determined to deliver our vision to create a fairer, stronger, cleaner city region - where no-one is left behind. We are looking for a talented and experienced Creative & Design lead to set the creative direction for the Combined Authority and bring to life the vital work we do - from leading the green agenda, through culture, housing, skills and our work to deliver a London-style transport network.

We want the Combined Authority’s creative outputs to be at the cutting edge of best practice in public sector communications. From devising campaign concepts to producing a strategy document and supporting content assets, to high quality video, animation and motion graphics - with a focus on contemporary digital communications.

You will lead and deliver inspiring creative work across our brand family, working with marketing & communications colleagues, internal clients, partners and agencies to ensure that the Combined Authority’s brand connects with the 1.6 million people of the Liverpool City Region and our key stakeholders. You’ll ensure the highest standard across all creative work, whether producing your own work, directing the in-house team or working with agencies.

The successful candidate will have a degree, or a professional qualification in a relevant discipline.  They will be required to demonstrate significant experience in a similar role, including line management, how they’re a team player and a successful track record of delivering innovative, creative solutions that deliver results.
