Senior Account Manager
The agency on this one is a well established, independent content production agency with a focus on video, photography, animation and a lovely range of highly recognisable brands. Currently there is a team of around 20 people with a really nice, hybrid working culture (3 days in the office but flex, there's no pressure to go in). It's a chilled out atmosphere with no politics and power struggles, just nice people doing good work with the usual social elements - they go on a team holiday in summer, have monthly social events (which aren't always boozy) and relatively frequent trips to the pub.
As they are extremely busy at the moment they're looking to hire a senior account manager to joint their team, which is currently an AD and SAM.
What You'll Be Doing
This is very much a classic account manager role, with a range of client management and project delivery responsibilities. The core thing they care about at this agency is making them a breeze for clients to work with. You'll be responsible for:
- Leading client relationships on 2-3 accounts.
- Managing the creative briefing process.
- Managing budgeting, timelines, and burn rate in tandem with a producer.
- Keeping clients in the loop on project updates and managing creative reviews.
- Growing accounts by keeping close to your clients and any future needs they might have.
Like all creative agency roles, you'll probably end up getting involved in a little more than this though, so be prepared to roll your sleeves up!
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for adaptable, organised and diligent people with strong communications skills and proven account management experience, ideally in an agency environment. There is a lot of scope to grow and develop with this agency, so a desire for a lot of exposure is pretty important for this one! In terms of background, experience in a production house or integrated agency would be best but we're pretty open.
All the usual personality traits apply - we are after somebody who wants to roll their sleeves up and muck in with a tight knit, highly collaborative team. Again, strong communications skills are an absolute must.
