An interior design and architecture studio with an extensive portfolio of international luxury residential and hospitality sectors are looking for an experienced middleweight or a newly appointed senior to join their team. The successful candidate should have gained prior experience within the residential sector and possess a strong knowledge of luxury suppliers and FF&E . This is a brilliant opportunity to join a studio going through a period of growth and strong project demand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Alongside the Associate, you will be working on and leading all stages of the design process from initial concept to completion.
  • Managing a team of junior designers and assistants.
  • Preparing well-laid out design presentations, mood boards, rendered plans and elevations, as well as FF&E concepts.
  • Presenting design presentations and ideas to clients.
  • Developing concepts through spatial planning, furniture layouts and elevations.
  • Developing FF&E schemes for luxury developments, sourcing materials and specifying furnishings and fittings, in keeping within the client brief and industry regulations.
  • Designing and supervising the production of bespoke furniture and lighting pieces
  • Possessing the ability to comprehend, draw and detail bespoke furniture or joinery.
  • Overseeing the procurement process all the way to delivery on site.
  • Leading and attending site meetings throughout the course of the project
  • Installation experience and styling

Skills and Experience

  • Hold the right to work in the UK.
  • BA in Interior Design, Decorating or related field.
  • Proven project experience within the luxury residential sector.
  • Strong knowledge of FF&E and high-end suppliers.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suites.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Confidence to run projects and lead key meetings.
