Award winning design and branding agency is looking for Senior Writer/Editor for their friendly team near London Bridge

We’re on the hunt for someone who is as comfortable whipping a lengthy technical report into shape as they are translating an unwieldy client brief into concise, sparkling brand messaging or crafting a blog post from scratch. 

The role will involve:

  • Delivering high-quality copy, both long-form and short, across a range of business and technology subject areas
  • Developing and writing content for websites, brochures, white papers, case studies, social media commentary, internal communications, advertising, proposals and presentations
  • Playing a lead role in concept and copy development for creative assets, as part of larger-scale branding projects, campaign development and other advertising activities
  • Playing a lead role in brand strategy projects by engaging in research, stakeholder interviews, messaging workshops and report development
  • Taking lead editorial responsibility for a high-profile client project, working closely with account managers, designers and proofreaders to produce a series of word-perfect, engaging reports
  • Researching and contributing considered and thought-provoking content for publication via the agency blog and social media channels
  • Playing a lead role in client presentations and consistently demonstrating the ability to sell an idea, respond to questions and communicate the agency’s point of view
  • Crafting tone of voice and messaging guidelines
  • Helping to shape and deliver content and communications strategies
  • Editing and/or proofreading documents to defined style standards
  • Managing copy iterations and keeping appropriate records of all changes
  • Staying up to date with all relevant style and editorial guidelines
  • Demonstrating expertise in our clients’ businesses through diligent research
  • Assisting in new business efforts, as appropriate, working in conjunction with other staff (including senior management and external agency partners)
  • Actively sharing content/strategy best practice within the Content and Strategy team – and across the wider agency as appropriate 


The successful candidate will:

  • Have exceptional writing, editing and communication skills
  •  Have a proven track record (five years plus) of producing well-researched, insightful, creative and analytical copy in a B2B agency or editorial environment
  •  Demonstrate the ability to combine editorial discipline with tactical creativity and flair
  • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail and dedication to quality
  • Understand and appreciate the role of branding in business success
  •  Enjoy applying his or her skills and experience to new challenges and opportunities: i.e. be able to “go deep” and become an expert on topics and markets that may be unfamiliar
  • Be digitally fluent, bright, organised, detail-oriented, self-motivated and collaborative, and be proactive in engaging with all agency, partner and client representatives
  •  Enjoy working in a collaborative environment
