Interior Design Team Leader - Hospitality & Leisure

With an exciting pipeline of secured work, a new position has been created for an Interior Design Team Manager to join them in the making of exceptional experiences within the hospitality sector.
This role will suit an interior designer looking for responsibilities similar to that of an associate. Working closely with the Head of Interiors and Property Design Director, you will be managing and mentoring a team of up to 5 mid-weight and senior designers, reviewing the work of others as well as running multiple projects from concept to completion.
This impactful design team thrive on the conceptual and the creative and pride themselves in championing the best for their customers. Client facing and integral to the design process, it is crucial you have strong communication and conceptual skills with ability to demonstrate significant design and project management experience within hospitality design.
Vectorworks and SketchUp based, you will develop feasibility layouts, interior schemes, and design packs, working to the construction drawing stage. Freehand sketching is beneficial along with working knowledge of FF&E.
Based in East London, there will be a requirement to travel to UK project sites to manage meetings, liaise with contractors and the architect, and where necessary, involvement with overseas projects. A sound understanding of UK building regulations is paramount, with knowledge of European and US regulations being beneficial.
