Account Manager - Branding Agency - Corporate/Service and Not for Profits Branding

£30-35K

  • Do you work currently in a branding agency with “corporate and service” (and some not so corporate) clients?
  • Are you someone who enjoys working with creatively-excellent designers, on projects which make real visual change, rather than simply tweaks?

If you’re thinking “yes” to these questions, then this role may well tick a lot – or all – of your “want” boxes!

We’re searching for a really excellent Account Manager for this branding agency client, based in central London.  They win awards regularly, they remain independent, they’re medium-sized, and as well as the design and artwork teams, they currently have a client services team of around 5 people, but are slowly and carefully expanding this to ensure a sensible workload and interesting projects to work on.

Their emphasis is on doing transformative work for clients – and those clients are sometimes corporate, sometimes service companies, and sometimes the consumer brands (but this is not a packaging agency!). You will undoubtedly have heard of many of the clients they work with now and over the past few years, and you may well have seen their work out there – for example, with the likes of 

For you, the role would be a classic mix of client servicing (establishing great client relationships and providing first class organisation and communication with those clients), project management for your projects, and maintaining the good working relationship between the creative team and the client services team – this is NOT an “us and them” type of culture.

You will have a Client Services Director and an Account Director to help guide and mentor you, plus other Account Managers to work alongside, so you will have a good support structure around you.  

We’re looking for someone who is smart, quick, with a good work ethos (ie if something is worth doing, it’s worth doing well) and a positive energy and communication style, plus a good first 2 or 3 years’ start in core branding projects and knowledge.

They’ll be looking at hybrid home/studio working going forwards, if this is important to you, and the studio is a very cool space in East London.
