This branding agency is central London-based (they’re moving into new offices early in 2022), though to start with, you’d work entirely from home until the move happens, when they can offer flexibility on home/office working.  They have some seriously well-known clients – big ones, in fact – and some big meaty branding projects for those clients.  But as well, they also work with some start-up companies/organisations.  So there’s variety here.

And as their new senior designer, you’ll be client facing on many projects, you’ll work closely with the strategy and client service teams, as well as helping to nurture less experienced designers on your projects.  You’ll have a creative director who is supportive, but not controlling, so you’ll be a designer who strives to do the best possible job without needing anyone constantly looking over your shoulder.  

On smaller projects, you may even be the creative lead.  And you won’t only work with the team in London – you’ll also have a fair amount of contact with the agency’s US office too, because London and the US do sometimes work on projects together.

The design team is currently around 6 strong in the UK, and they are adding to the team with this new senior designer role.  The agency is medium-sized in total, and it remains independent, owned and run by its founders, not part of a big group.

The “must have’s” for them are a designer with previous (and demonstrable) experience of creating and evolving core brands in the b2b world, previous branding agency experience, and an articulate and thoughtful presentation style – it’s not just about the end result, it’s also about being able to show and explain how and why you got there.  Plus a genuine desire to work well as part of a team of both designers and strategists on larger projects, and someone who is keen to contribute something positive to the teams they work on.
