An Interior Designer is needed to join a Design studio who work on exciting projects across the UK. This role presents the opportunity to be directly involved in all stages of innovative schemes from hospitality, commercial, to new build residential and refurbishments.

With projects that range from the full interior design and bespoke furnishing of a 3000 sq ft home in Notting Hill, to the design of 10,000 sq ft of amenity areas in Manchester this exciting design studio cover all aspects of Interior design, as well as smaller high-value private client projects. They are now seeking a talented Interior Designer to join their vibrant, collaborative office.

The successful Interior Designer will utilise their skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Suite to execute outstanding designs for clients.

On a day-to-day basis the Interior Designer will:

  • Prepare, and develop with the team: drawings, models, images, material & mood boards, and other documents relating to the design.
  • Create and manage schedules of interior spec and finishes.
  • Work across several projects and aesthetics.
  • Liaise with the client.
  • Attend all design team meetings, site meetings, sub-contractor visits etc.

  • Liaise with members of the external design team and other associated organisations or companies and communicate progress where required.
  • Source and continually source new products and finishes.
  • Work closely with the rest of the team to ensure a cohesive project is delivered using everyone’s strengths to the best of their abilities.
  • Fully understand the design projects and deliver each project as required.

Hybrid working will be considered for the right candidate, but it is expected that you will be in the London Office (Waterloo) the majority of the time.

To qualify… You should be an Interior Designer / Interior Architect or similar with a CV and portfolio that demonstrates:

  • Experience working on residential and/or hospitality focused projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign and freehand drawings.
  • A good understanding of Interior Design and FF&E.
  • An industry recognised diploma or degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or ideally in Spatial design.

  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of an effective team.

  • You are fluent in English.

In return the Interior Designer will be joining a team of talented and enthusiastic people in a fantastically fun working environment and culture.
