This is a fantastic opportunity for a Social Media Executive to join a fun hospitality company which was established in 2012, who operate various innovative activities/leisure concepts for customers to enjoy both in the UK and USA.

The role:

A new Social Media Executive role has been created at the company, where you will drive the social media following and lead the social media content planning and creation for all social channels, liaising with the marketing team (currently 3 people) to ensure brand consistency. This role spans across two of their brands/venues, giving you lots of variety day to day! . They need someone who can own the channels and create video content (with the help of a photographer and videographer for the more complex stuff!). They want someone who can be creative, go into the various venues, work with the staff and direct what needs to be done to capture people playing and create the content, using their phone and editing apps.

They are looking for someone who lives and breathes social media and is up to date with all current social trends, particularly with TikTok which has taken off considerably in the past 2 years.

Experience required:

  • 2 years' plus experience at Assistant or Executive level
  • Experience using social media planning and management tools
  • Basic video and graphic content production experience (Adobe Suite preferred)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Manage all posting and daily community management across each channel
  • Be experienced in both the creative content planning side and the more tactical implementation, including: theme planning, asset design, publishing, promotion, measurement and evaluation
  • Design a high impact social media strategy that drives followings with existing fanbase and new audiences and maximises engagement levels
  • Establish a clear online voice via tailored copywriting that aligns to the brand DNA and identity
  • Identify and create new ways to enhance engagement and following on social channels
  • Actively monitor and handle outreach across all social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and others as needed
  • Communicate with followers and respond to questions and comments in a timely manner
  • An understanding of influencer marketing and utilising commercial relationships with them
  • Ideally some experience of paid advertising
  • Reporting on KPIs around engagement, growth, sentiment and performance - including spotting and reporting on key feedback themes
  • Spotting good opportunities for paid media to boost high-performing organic posts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong time management with the ability to manage projects and prioritise
