Project Director

An independent studio with a reputation for creating beautifully crafted work is looking for a Project Director as part of their growth plans for the year ahead.  This agency is working with a wide range of progressive brands and clients on some truly exciting projects which will need strong organisational support.

The project management team are the linchpin of this Studio and offer a first-class, functional service to both clients and the internal team to ensure the successful delivery of projects each and every time.  We are looking for someone established at senior level who is confident running their own projects and working collaboratively with the wider team (creative, finance and strategy) in an agile and resourceful way.  

You’ll be a real driving force behind projects, adapting to daily challenges and keeping everyone involved aware of project statuses.  We need you to be fully responsible for project proposals, creative briefings and delivery, ensuring that objectives, schedules and job profitability are met throughout.  You’ll also be involved in mentoring and nurturing less experienced members of the PM team and supporting the PM Director in recruiting for and shaping this team as it grows, creating better ways of working and processes that benefit the overall Studio and clients.

Our ideal candidate:

Has significant experience as a Project Manager in a branding agency and a collaborative approach

Applies a high level of organisation and attention to detail to every piece of work

Fully understands the creative process and design deliverables

Has sound financial acumen and is confident managing budgets

Can anticipate, understand and solves issues and challenges before they become critical

Is a naturally responsive and supportive person, both with clients and the team around them

Has previous experience managing and mentoring less experienced members of a team
