Designer Artworker / Brand Guardian / QC – up to £32k p/a

This role is with a top integrated, agency working on one of their largest accounts which is a household name brand. They are looking for someone who comes from a hands on design or artwork background, who is keen to progress their career in a Brand Guardianship / quality control / assurance role focusing on varied print and digital campaign work. This agency is a leader in global integrated marketing and advertising design and production. They work with a range of very well-known clients and agencies producing everything from TV and video, OOH campaigns to POS and a huge range of digital work. Quality and accuracy of work is extremely important to this agency as they pride themselves on delivering all adaptions of assets for global campaigns that are 100% correct within tight timeframes.  

Working heavily in Photoshop, InDesign and some Illustrator as well as PPT, the role focusses on Brand Guardianship and Quality controlling assets and will see you joining their ever growing team. You will liaise with many teams internally as well as the client and ingest masters, create campaign guideline docs as well as receiving files for a huge range of work from ads, 3D POS / retail work, digital banners, emails and other content. You’ll run through all checks to ensure files are totally correct to brief and fit to brand and campaign specific guidelines. Where there are bespoke briefs / media to work to, you will suggest creative routes that are on brand. Working on some global brands in such a fast paced agency, you will need to be able to work quickly and accurately to ensure their high standards are met. The successful candidate will need to be well versed in creating highly accurate finished artwork and have huge attention to detail, but will also be given training in terms of the process and specific checks that you need to follow and learn more about the production of work at the agency.

Working closely with other departments such as Account Handlers, studio and digital teams, as well as the client, you will develop in the role and have the opportunity to make a real difference on accounts as you become able to help suggest improvements from a brand / quality perspective.

The ideal candidate will have experience with producing extremely accurate print and web ready artwork and ideally produced a good mix of print and digital advertising and retail work. You’ll be used to working to stringent brand guidelines and have strong written and verbal skills while working under tight deadlines.

You will ideally have checked your own and others’ work before and acted as a brand guardian. Any experience of further quality checks, such as proofreading, cross browser testing on different platforms using simulator tools and real devices would also be an advantage. Also any knowledge of producing and working with banners, emails, display advertising and rich media, 3D POS such as FSDU’s would also be advantageous.
