Senior Account Manager - Digital
Our client is a brilliant, global digital agency who have been growing at a steady rate, even through lockdowns. They are currently at ~200 heads, spanning developers, project management, creative/design and an operation/support team. The core thing they deliver is content management platforms of all shapes and sizes.
The team is fully remote and has been since the agency was founded (they took to covid like a duck to water) but they are planning to open a space in London as they have a large team in the area.
They've got a really nice set of clients, and the entire team are client facing from the outset - they take real pride in how collaborative their teams are, as well as the transparency of their client relationships. This agency also provides their team with a lot of freedom in how they approach their work - you can expect to have real ownership of all of your projects, but a good support structure in place if you need it.
What You'll Be Doing
It's a classic account management role in that you will be the key contact for your clients and their voice within the agency. You'll predominantly be focused on the planning and delivery of web build projects in tandem with the well established PM team, but you will also have ownership of the delivery of strategy work for your clients as well, so if you enjoy a varied day then this could be a good one!
In your day to day you'll be:
- Managing a portfolio of clients, understanding their business requirements and then guiding strategic and tactical projects.
- Lead discovery engagements and workshops
- Support and grow your client relationships and acting as the voice of the client in the agency.
- Preparing SOWs, managing team resourcing and ensuring that all work is delivered on time, on budget and to high creative standards.
- Working with your project management team as well as UXers, developers and QAs in the production phase. All of this is in house.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with solid account management and project delivery, ideally in digital environment with a heavy lean towards the delivery of CMS platforms. If you've got experience or knowledge of working on SEO and/or SEM then that would also be a massive asset! A commercial mindset would be an asset for this position, as you'll have real ownership of your clients and projects and well developed communications skills are an absolute must. Given that you'll be the strategist on your accounts, experience in leading the strategy for a range of clients is important.
As mentioned, they are currently fully remote and even once they open a London office you'll be spending a lot of time working from home so if you are someone that has actually enjoyed the great remote working experiment then this is one for you.
All the usual personality traits apply - we are after somebody who wants to roll their sleeves up and muck in with a tight knit, highly collaborative team.
