Studio Management

We're working with an extremely well known retail and grocery brand who are massively bolstering their marketing team as they in-house work from their digital and media agency partners. They boast a household name, are completely dominant in their category with 35% YoY growth, and have already established a formidable marketing team who are proving again and again to be the absolute best in class.

This is a great opportunity to join them as they bolster the team, and be part of a key function for them as the team grows and develops.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be joining small but well formed team of resource people, which includes a production manager who manages shoots, supporting a team of 40 creatives.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Monthly scheduling for the creative and design team
  • Assigning teams to projects
  • Keeping an eye on project timelines and budgets to ensure work is delivered efficiently
  • Managing studio capacity, bringing in freelance support via 3rd parties where needed
  • Helping to roll out a new resourcing tool (they haven't picked one out yet).

They are trying to keep this role laser focused on the core traffic management skill set but you'll probably end up getting involved in a few extra projects given the smaller size of the team, so get ready to roll your sleeves up!

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with the ability to embed themselves into the creative team and support them with all things traffic and resource! Naturally this means that we need someone with strong communication skills, a serious head for organisation, and a refined tool kit to diagnose the various areas in the team which could be run in a more effective manner.

A background in agency project, resource or traffic management is the most obvious place for this to come from, but we are open to people who have worked brand-side in a busy environment with multiple workstreams, especially in the world of ecommerce.

All the usual personality traits apply - we are after somebody who wants to roll their sleeves up and muck in with a tight knit, highly collaborative team. Again, strong communications skills are an absolute must.
