We are partnering with a well known British Make-Up and Skincare brand and they are looking for a Senior Art Director to join their team.

Working into the senior leadership team of the agency and in close collaboration with the Director of Creative & Digital, the Art Director will report to the Head of Creative & Digital, and have ownership of the creative process from concept through to final execution. Working closely with their video & motion graphics and digital design team.

With an entrepreneurial spirit, solutions-oriented and collaborative approach, you will work alongside other creatives, the marketing team, digital team, PR, social, as well as help support their local market creative efforts.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Deliver and inspire award-winning work, really understanding the concept of art & science, leveraging data/insights to inform ideas and creativity
  • Understand the pipeline of projects and campaigns across the business
  • Full ownership of campaigns, delivering all digital content (across web, email, paid/organic social, video), and all 360 campaigns (incl. digital, TVC, influencers, PR, partnerships)
  • Collaborate with and assist the Head or Director of Creative & digital on major campaign shoot
  • Mange solo ongoing art direction of always on campaigns, as well as coordinate with retouching to manage final delivery of visual assets
  • Partner with marketing and their strategist to contribute to strategic development of a well-defined creative briefs
  • Collaborate with teams across NPD, in-store, retail partners, partnerships, local markets and digital product innovation roadmap
  • Stay on top of technical and digital design developments, and successfully apply them to work practices to help improve processes and procedures
  • Deliver successful creative solutions, and high quality work, consistently and on time
  • Generate useful, usable ideas across all existing and emerging digital platforms
  • Set creative direction and offer hands-on guidance throughout team projects
  • Mentor junior team members

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working at an Art Director level, ideally agency experience
  • Experience in, and enthusiasm for, developing creative ideas for digital platforms, as well as 360 campaigns, from brief to delivery and beyond.
  • Demonstrated creative success in collaborating with multi-functional teams, including project & campaign planning
  • Ability to work closely with, and provide constructive feedback, to the digital marketing design team, video & motions graphics team and 360 campaign team
  • Ability to marry art (creative) and science (data). It's a must you can analytically look at data, reporting and apply it to future projects and creative
  • Experience in collaboration with UX and development teams and leaders
  • Experience of European and global projects
  • Exceptional information presentation (visual and written) experience
  • A strong track record in project planning, including accurate estimation of costs and timings
  • Expert knowledge of user interface, application, mobile and responsive design, using the latest prototyping and design tools
  • Infectiously positive and passionate energy
  • Ability to work at pace, with a confidently calm demeanour
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (email, docs, drive, slides)
  • Experience using Dropbox, and project management tools such as Trello
