We're working with a well known brand in the world of online dating as they deliver a brand refresh and new advertising assets in advance of a relaunch in 2022. They have a well established internal creative team of 15, but need a specialist TVC / line producer to come on board and support with the delivery of a £1.5million ad campaign, about half of which will be spent on the TVC production costs. The team are currently spending 1-2 days a week in the office on an entirely voluntary basis, with the rest spent working remotely.
This role will be outside of IR35, and will run from October to the end of the year. There is a chance that travel will be involved depending on shoot location, so candidates should be comfortable with potentially leaving the UK to shoot.
What You'll Be Doing
It's a relatively straightforward line / TVC producer role! Your responsibilities will include:
- Ownership over the logistics and production of a project, including budgeting, scheduling, briefing in the required skill sets and overseeing through the production phases.
- Working with the marketing team and other internal stakeholders along with the creative team in the concepting phase, helping the creatives realise their vision and supporting the throughout the process.
- Working with external suppliers to ensure the timely, cost effective and high quality delivery of video assets including the post production phase.
- Managing project burn rate and keeping the client and internal team updated on project finances and timelines.
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have worked in creative agency environment as an exec or line producer delivering large-scale TVC production. Strong knowledge of the world of TV is important as you'll have ownership of clearance amongst other things.
You'll have a strong understanding of the shoot production process from concepting, planning and budgeting, and then working closely with creative teams to get the work done as well as dealing with shoot logistics including location, talent etc. While you will be working collaboratively with the project management team and creatives, we do need somebody who is capable of getting stuck in on their own.
All the usual personality traits apply - we are after somebody who is more than happy to roll their sleeves up and muck in with a tight knit, highly collaborative team. That, and being genuinely invested in delivering great work are the most important things for this one.
