Part time designer
Position: Part time designer
Salary: 26-28k Pro rata
We are working for a company in London who are looking for a designer to join the team on a part time basis.
They want someone to work for 3 days a week – 2 days in the company studio and 1 day from home.
They are based in Southwest London – nearest tube is Piccadilly
The position will involve
Creating social media assets for all company activities including conferences and competitions
Maintaining corporate style across business activities using our rebranded identity
Page layout and design of the company member magazines
Taking briefs from creative through to print ready stage
Provision and updating of artwork for the website
Design, production, and sourcing of display materials for exhibitions and events
Liaising closely with internal departments on design and content, including Sales and Marketing to support advertising sales activities
Creating and updating the corporate and promotional literature, brochures, fliers, advert etc.
Liaising/negotiation with printers and suppliers
Design of external client adverts for magazines, as briefed by the Sales team
Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite
Fluent in Microsoft Word & PowerPoint (including creating templates)
Experience of developing digital content
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Excellent eye for detail/proofreading skills
Ability to work to/maintain corporate style and branding
Well organized and able to manage own workload
Comfortable working both independently and within a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Relevant qualification in design
Understanding of legal considerations/implication in print and digital publishing
