We're working with a cracking ad agency with an independent spirit (though they are part of a very small holding group), a bold culture and excellent creative work. They have a brilliant range of clients, many of which are household names that even your gran would recognise, and delivering everything from TVCs through to social campaigns, content creative, radio and OOH.
They have an extremely meritocratic approach, and a rigorous but pacey planning style focused more on getting to a good creative brief quickly rather than spending months on brand triangles. Their planning team is currently five strong, and we're now looking for planner number six.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a pretty standard advertising agency planner role. You'll be responsible for:
- Work alongside a talented Strategy Director and team to write creative briefs for a range of outputs.
- Collaborating closely with the creative team to make sure that the work is creatively brilliant, but also hits the right strategic mark.
- Immersing yourself in desk research and trends, you'll pull together articulate and informative insights that will go on to steer the development of creative and comms strategies
- Working with a variety of clients, you'll be comfortable with pitching your ideas and thinking directly to our stakeholders.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for somebody who can demonstrate clear, concise thinking, who has a natural curiosity to them, and who has an absolute laser focus on delivering top notch creative work. While good digital knowledge is a plus, this is very much a creative planning role, not a media planner or a number crunching campaign planner role. Ideally, you'll have a few years of experience with a creative agency under your belt and will be hungry to work on a span of clients and projects.
All the usual personality traits apply - we are after somebody who wants to roll their sleeves up and muck in with a tight knit, highly collaborative, and creative team. Again, strong communications skills are an absolute must.
