We are partnering with an independent creative consultancy, they are a team of curious and creative Partners, working across strategy, design, digital and project management. Their work is ideas-driven, intelligent and effective.

They are looking for an experienced and ambitious Creative Director to lead and inspire their creative team. Your passion for brand, both on- and off-line, will shine and you'll use your outstanding strategic thinking and creative excellence to produce outstanding, fame-making solutions. You'll not only run the creative team, but you'll set the creative vision for the future of the business.

You:

  • You have a relevant design degree and 10+ years experience, (with a minimum of 5 years' digital experience, particularly with, but not limited to web, social and emerging technologies).
  • You also have an outstanding portfolio that demonstrates your ability to think intellectually about design problems, using creative cutthrough to address complex challenges with commercial impact: you know how to help clients make their brands work
  • You're an excellent listener, great communicator and have strong sense of commitment both to the work and the team. Your ambition and expertise brings success to everyone.

Role Objectives

External:

  • Deliver across various sectors, driving brand and digital solutions via multiple channels
  • Lead pitches and projects with creativity, clarity and expertise
  • Support complex high value projects, demonstrating creativity, intelligence, strategic thinking and effectiveness
  • Brand-led and able to translate strategy across wide range of touchpoints that bring brands to life in relevant and inspiring ways for people / customers / audiences
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients and have a clear understanding of their business and industry, driving creative opportunity
  • Expand project scope, identify new opportunities and drive diversification into new sectors and industries
  • Display excellent vision and verbal communication skills

Internal:

  • Inspire, motivate and nurture the team to build and encourage knowledge and skills
  • Oversee and execute digital and creative ideas on multiple projects and pitches
  • Evaluate client work and drive creative concepts with a clear vision and strong communication skills
  • Identify development opportunities for the team and help to grow the talent pool
  • Be a team player with the creatives and be a key leader in the business
  • Have confident presentation skills and the ability to nurture similar skills in others
  • Show and share knowledge continuously across the business
  • Drive excellence in design and digital through all projects
  • Manage and oversee photoshoots, films, etc. and any third-party suppliers
  • Receive constructive feedback and work with other seniors in the business
  • Evidence a strategic and creative approach to projects
  • Display high standards: driving excellence with exceptional attention to detail
