Our client designs and makes bespoke kitchens and every single piece of cabinetry is built to last - they are strong believers in sustainability and want their kitchens to be their clients' ‘forever’ kitchens.

Due to the growth of business and looking ahead, they have created a new role which is a Senior Management position and the linchpin between all parts of the business.

Day-to-day responsibilities for the Operations Manager / General Manager will be:

  • Leads and Opportunities - Management and allocation of leads and opportunities and the sales pipeline in general
  • Project Management - Managing client projects from sale through to final project completion. Making sure the projects are delivered smoothly and to the client’s satisfaction
  • Inventory and Stock Management - Ordering of materials and appliances as well as supplier management
  • Quoting and invoicing (not bookkeeping)
  • Client liaison - Pre and post-sales client communication
  • Business process adherence and improvement - As the company grows, the business processes will need to be scaled accordingly
  • Marketing - Marketing strategy and implementation a bonus

Person and Experience needed for the Operation Manager / General Manager role:

  • People management experience
  • Driven with high standards for quality and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service ethos and manner and ability to handle high-end clients with high expectations
  • Positive attitude, calm demeanour and not easily flustered
  • Previous experience managing business processes and small teams in order to deliver a product or service to customers
  • Experience of the KBB, furniture and/or joinery market a bonus
  • A background of working with smaller sized business' not international or large corporations
