Our client is Leicestershire are looking to add a Project Account Manager with pharmaceutical experience  to their team.   
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
Ensure all business critical deadlines are met for each programme
Ensure effective usage of in-house project management systems and processes
Ensuring that the highest standards of event planning and delivery are maintained through the effective management of Project Managers and Project Executives
Oversee the project management of all venues & associated logistical arrangements, F&B requirements and all associated ad hoc meeting activities, where required
Oversee the completion of the invitation & attendee management process by Project Executives, including attendee communication, database management & reporting on large scale projects when required
Manage & co-ordinate Client requirements with all 3rd party suppliers/internal service providers (DMC, Exhibit Agencies, Print & Design, Production, AV, Air Travel), where required
Work with the project managers to add value to clients’ events through advising on beneficial additional services; creative ideas; business solutions and negotiation with 3rd party suppliers in order to achieve maximum contribution
Produce, manage and circulate key communications e.g. weekly status reports to all key meeting stakeholders e.g. Client, Exhibit Agency, Med Ed etc
Travel on-site to conduct site inspections & undertake planning meetings with all suppliers, when required
Travel on-site to manage all project requirements and onsite team
Ensure delivery of all events in accordance with regulatory and client-defined compliance guidelines
Deliver first class customer service in line with clients’ objectives Client Liaison and Development
Meetings and liaison with clients where applicable to establish, maintain and develop relationships
Identify new opportunities and leads for existing and new business development
Sign off presentations and event proposals to clients
Plan, attend & execute client planning meetings - face to face, webex and/or telecons, where required
Identify & manage preparation of supportive meeting planning materials for Client Planning Meetings
Ensure Client is up to date with all aspects of meeting planning arrangements throughout the course of the programme
Attend Client debrief post event
Apply excellent written and verbal communication skills, both yourself and your team
Assist the Account Director / Business Services Director in the implementation of the Account Development Plan
Liaise with and advise clients, using knowledge and event experience to ensure that their business objectives are met
Build, maintain and develop long term relationships with clients
Assist the Account Director / Business Services Director with the preparation of management information for clients
Complete understanding of client business structure, products, policies and key personnel
Attend Client briefings, project meetings and post-event debriefs, as required Financial Management
Ensure financial tracking of each event and conduct regular ‘health checks’ to ensure positive cash flow
Maximise profitability of projects operated – including supplier negotiation and up-selling of additional services to clients
Oversee the preparation and maintenance of budgets throughout the lifecycle of each event where required
Support the Account Director / Business Services Director in production and maintenance of the business plan, to maximise profitability of projects including management fees, time costs and secondary revenue (where permitted)
Maximise the efficiency of the team resources and time management, to ensure optimum net margin
Oversee the application of effective scope management – to identify and charge clients for out of scope activities
Ensure that cost avoidance/saving measures are identified, quantified and reported
Ensure compliance with company & client invoicing processes
Ensure accurate final reconciliation of events within agreed timelines
Maximise revenue generation from allocated/targeted accounts
Manage and achieve project profitability Staff Development, Motivation and Management
Organise, plan and prioritise staff and resources to meet objectives and deadlines
Manage recruitment of Project Executives and Project Managers and lead their mentoring and development
Support Account Director / Business Services Director in reviewing and appraising the team in line with Company procedures
Support the Account Director / Business Services Director in the review and implementation of development plans for the account team
Work with Account Director / Business Services Director and Project Managers to organise, plan and prioritise staff and resources to meet objectives and deadlines General
Attendance & contribution at team meetings
Effective interaction with other departments - e.g. IT, Finance, HR, Travel
Accurate written & verbal communications
Demonstrate a full understanding of compliance, including ABPI and Pharma Guidelines
Comply with all company and Client policies and procedures, including those relating to Health & Safety
Comply with all Client & company privacy & security protocols
Achieve all Client and/or company driven Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for all events
Maintain good long-term relationships with hotels, venues and suppliers, to ensure the best value for money for clients
Develop and apply a good knowledge of the company’s range of services
Provide out of hours cover as required on a rota basis
Develop and apply a good understanding of clients’ businesses and products
Assist new starters in the role of ‘Buddy’ when required
Understand, apply and promote the company’s Vision and Values at all times
