Job Functions

An award-winning AJ100 architectural and heritage consultancy practice with a strong commitment to quality who work on some of the finest buildings from meticulous heritage and conservation schemes to bold contemporary design.
Due to increased project demand opportunities are available for a Part II Architectural Assistant and Conservation Architect to join them working on a prestigious Manchester landmark.
You will be able to provide evidence highlighting excellent attention to detail and high-quality examples of work on application.
Part II role
Key requirements are:

  • Buildings Conservation experience essential
  • Technical competence (preparation of working drawings and specifications) and site experience
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Revit experience
  • BIM Conservation experience would be desirable but not essential

Architect role
Key requirements are:

  • Part 3 qualified and have at least 2 years working as a Project Architect for a UK based practice
  • Demonstrate building conservation experience
  • Proven experience working on at RIBA stage 4 & 5
  • Have excellent design and drawing skills
  • Have a strong understanding of the UK Building and Planning regulations
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Demonstrate good client-facing communication skills
  • Have project/ job running experience
  • Competent in technical detailing
  • Experience of working on large new build projects
  • Proficient using AutoCAD, Revit and NBS
