Senior Landscape Architects
A leading international, multidisciplinary consultant with offices in London and throughout the Gulf States, Middle East and Africa, is seeking to recruit senior landscape architects to work in its London Design studio. Though the posts are based in London, there are likely to be frequent and sometimes extended periods of travel to work on projects outside the UK sometimes at very short notice.
The role will involve:
- Working on large international projects, predominantly within the Middle East;Preparing, writing and contributing to Design Stage Reports;Working collaboratively with internal design departments and external consultants including urban designers, architects, planners, economists, transportation, lighting and infrastructure engineers etc;Contributing to deliverables and ensuring that they are submitted on time and to the highest quality;Interacting with the Client representatives through meetings and presentations to represent the company's interests;Preparing landscape designs from concept to detailed levelChecking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings;Monitoring of work produced by others within and external to the Landscape Department in the process of preparing reports and documentation for issue.Candidates should have:A bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture/Design and preferably a postgraduate degree/diploma in Landscape architecture;At least 5 years' relevant work experience in a multi-disciplinary design environment and in working on large and complex landscape projects;Excellent planning and presentation skills, initiative, motivation and team working skills;Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Preference will be given to candidates with previous work experience in the Gulf States and Middle East. Candidates with strong sketching ability will be particularly welcomed.
Candidates will be expected to travel overseas at short notice for short and long-term assignments. Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English and have good report writing abilities. Knowledge of a second language is an added bonus.
Selected candidates who satisfy the job requirements will be invited for an interview. Presentation of a portfolio and a description of past key projects and career milestones is a requirement for the interview.
The remuneration package includes:
