Senior Digital Designer
Are you a creative constructor with a passion for all things digital? Our client - a Central London-based design agency - is looking for a Senior Digital Designer to take on a diverse role. You will have the opportunity to develop your digital and design skills across web, apps, promotional campaigns and live events whilst working closely with a like-minded team and with clients.
Reporting to the Digi Director, the Senior Designer will support their Digital Team on creatively shaping new and existing projects for their diverse range of clients. The new recruit will interpret client briefs to their required specification, manage projects in a timely fashion and provide scalable creative and technical solutions - delivering them to a high standard, on time and on budget. The designer will need to be able to build relationships with clients and reliably follow through on both creative and operational dialogues.
The agency is always looking to grow its abilities and they love self-initiators and will encourage all their people to bring any additional skills and passions forward to push boundaries and create the most innovative and insightful design solutions, while also allowing everyone to have an input into training for the agency where new skills are required.
Does this sound like your sort of thing? Here's what they are looking for.
First and foremost, they want to meet a talented designer and builder of websites. A technically-minded creative with excellent WordPress skills (HubSpot would be a bonus) and the ability to troubleshoot and anticipate issues as they go along. Great Adobe CS skills are a given, as is a good relationship with typography and layout. Solid experience in producing wireframes is also required for the role and ideally experience working with CRM systems too.
This isn't an agency where UI and UX are specialist subjects - everyone is committed to great design in all aspects of digital comms - but of course a good grounding in both is a must.
Although the Senior Designer will work with Motion Graphics Designers, any skills within that area (especially After Effects) would be great to see too.
It's a great time to join this agency. The number and size of projects are increasing, new tech is being rolled out to the studio and they are constantly improving and developing new ways to delight their clients. We've seen our people join and develop their skills and careers. Why not come and be a part of it?
