Who You'll Be Working With

A really neat design and branding agency with a focus on the world of retail. They have a great range of clients and deliver everything from brand strategy, end to end retail design, communications campaigns and digital interactive. Culture wise it's massively collaborative - the creatives are client facing, everybody mucks in, and although they are a very well established name in the industry they have a flexible and nimble approach to delivering their (award winning) work.

What You'll Be Doing

It's a hugely varied role. The core of your job is that of a producer or production manager: scoping work with the client, managing budgets and timelines, oversight of traffic and resource, and getting work out of the door on time. Your main focus from a project point of view will be on the digital side of things - predominantly motion graphics design and interactive installations but you'll be collaborating with the rest of the agency from a process point of view. Supplier management and managing a little black book of freelance resource will also be a part of the role. Lastly, you'll be quite client facing: the agency don't have account or project managers across the board so you will be client facing from the outset (though not expected to grow revenue, just do a good job of delivering the work).

A lot of variety, and it won't be for everyone, but if you like a job where no day is the same, you deliver a range of work, and you have a broad range of responsibilities then this is the one for you.

Who You'll Be

Given the range of responsibilities of this role I'm looking for somebody with a flexible, adaptable approach who can tweak their process on a project by project basis but knows how to (gently) put their foot down when needed. Strong experience as a producer or production manager within an agency environment is a must, ideally within the retail/design and branding space. Experience in the world of digital interactive (say for a museum exhibit style project) would be a massive plus, but if you have worked on a variety of outputs that's the key thing.
