Client Services Manager / Freelance /  Global luxury tobacco category

We have an unique opportunity to work with one of the most award winning and highly respected agencies in central London. They are currently working on a luxury tobacco brand and need the assistance of a client services manager.

We seek spirited individuals who are great communicators, passionate collaborators and engaging presenters, with drive and attention to detail. They are responsible for managing and growing our key client relationships. A strong commercial understanding of budget management linked to deliverables and resource is crucial, along with broad business acumen. They provide clear direction, structure, and leadership to teams in the agency and ensure they can deliver a consistent client experience. They are adept at problem solving, motivating teams, managing them, and identifying and dealing with potential issues, even before they happen. By doing this, they become indispensable to our clients, contribute to the agency culture and help ensure this famous agency remains one-step ahead.


  • To motivate and galvanise internal teams around all client projects
  • To interact with the client daily, through primary channels of communication
  • Responsible for leading client projects - point-person for day-to-day tasks and projects - create and maintain clear lines of communication with clients and internal teams
  • Motivating and collaborating with agency teams – including Strategy, Creative and Finance
  • Provide support and mentorship to new/ junior members of the team
  • Ensure work is produced to Interbrand’s standards, on time, to brief, on budget and to required profit margins
  • Write and manage project scopes and planning, briefing, resourcing, forecasting, invoicing
  • Prepare and take responsibility for project billing each month, partnering with Finance
  • Create and manage project budgets; write cost estimates/proposals, timing plans, clear and concise contact reports, statuses etc.
  • Review/proof-read work before it goes to the client
  • Champion inspiring brief writing and an intelligent meeting culture
  • Identify organic business opportunities with existing clients - play a lead role in converting new prospects/ proactive initiatives
  • Support Business Development with fee estimates and Scopes of Work for new clients
  • Share industry news, market trends, competitor activity, and inspiring articles, podcasts among the team
  • Help to write project case studies and best practice summaries
