South Norfolk or North Suffolk based? This award-winning brand is looking for a Head of Creative, part time.

Head of Creative - 9 Month Contract, 3 Days per Week - £40,000-£60,000 - South East England

THE COMPANY
The business is a well-known brand with a portfolio of FMCG products, a good brand heritage and great design across the brands. Great company culture and a busy and positive cultural environment in great coastal location.

THE ROLE
Reporting to the CEO and working alongside Head of Brand Comms and the Brand Team, you will manage an in-house design team of 5 as well as external agency relationships.

You'll be joining the business at an exciting time where the new parent brand refresh will be close to finalisation and this will be rolled out by you and your team. As well as the brand refresh project there are ongoing BAU requirements and new product launches happening regularly.

It's a very diverse role that will require demonstrable experience of team management - leading and inspiring by example - and the ability and desire to be hands on, some if not all of the time. You will meet internal colleagues and stakeholders regularly and be able to articulate the rationale and thinking behind design decisions, clearly and concisely, to the CEO etc.

Working alongside the head of Brand Communications and the Brand team you will work across multiple projects simultaneously and be able to help focus and prioritise work. There is also a production manager who help traffic work.

YOU
To be right for the role you will need to be in good commutable distance from the head office - a South Norfolk or North Suffolk base would be ideal.
- Have a stylish and relevant folio of brand-led work - ideally print and digital
- A customer-first approach and appreciation of FMCG and hospitality
- Non-hierarchical approach to team and business leadership. Embody a one-team mentality across the business as well as within the Brand Team.
- Proven experience as a creative director or in a similar lead creative role.
- Hand-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand rollout.
- Strong working knowledge of the Creative Suite software - in particular Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Outstanding leadership and organisation skills.
- Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities.
