The HMRC Communications directorate delivers professional communications and multi-channel campaigns across HMRC. The Creative Services Team, part of the Content Team, sits within this directorate and supports colleagues in delivering HMRC's business objectives and the communications plan.
We’re responsible for developing innovative, creative multi-media content to help deliver business objectives and meet the needs of our internal and external customers. With 63,000 employees, 45 million individual and 4.9 million business customers, our reach is vast.
With colleagues in HMRC Comms we continue to build a coherent brand position and corporate identity for HMRC across a variety of channels and audiences, always with the aim of maintaining and improving standards of communication across the directorate.
HMRC Communications is part of the Government Communication Service - the professional body for people working in communications roles across government to support delivery of business objectives and influence the reputation of HMRC among internal and external stakeholders through effective communication.
You will do this by producing innovative and creative design concepts, artwork and motion solutions that reflect the HMRC corporate identity and brand style guidelines.
Our work includes the delivery of creative campaigns for internal and external communications, corporate reporting, animation, social media and events.
You will be responsible for delivering high quality, customer-focused materials that support Department Strategic Objectives and messaging.
You will work with others in the team to help raise the visibility of Creative Services Team within the Department and help designers develop creative concepts and motion projects by offering guidance and support.
You will work with others in the wider team to deliver business outcomes that contribute to the delivery of the HMRC Communications business plan and support the work of the Government Communications Service.
