Multitalented and award winning agency is looking for a dynamic and strategic senior designer. This role would suit a middleweight looking for a step up or a senior designer looking for more responsibility and autonomy.

Working across print and digital marketing you will be sculpting brands and engaging audiences across a broad sector of clients including artisan, retail and premium consumer brands including place naming.

With creative campaigns that dig deeper and deliver more, this studio is a one-stop-shop – a creative powerhouse of designers, problem-solvers and storytellers combining exquisite craftsmanship with agency know-how.

The ideal candidate will not only be a talented and conceptual designer but will have a genuine interest in insights into sector, market and consumer trends, you will understand what makes consumers tick and be able to visualize this through awesome design.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a boutique independent agency on big brands and big ideas. You will have total autonomy, access to the client and work closely with the agency Creative Directors who have significant and credible experience.

Core responsibilities:

Support the Creative Partners, working with the Account Director to deliver creative and strategic brand communications, accurately interpreting briefs, developing client relationships whilst helping mentor and providing direction and inspiration for the creative team.

+ Take creative leadership on various client accounts, pitches and key projects

+ To produce credible, creative design solutions

+ Generate and create ideas, expressing individual creativity often to tight deadlines

+ Work constructively with the Creative Partners and Account Director

+ Mentor Designers and help direct others to deliver creative solutions

+ Communicate effectively and appropriate with a wide range of people both verbally and in writing.

+ Understand the importance of commercial and strategic thinking to achieve objectives

+ Analyse creative campaign opportunities in terms of overall strategic objectives

+ Take responsibility for the quality and presentation of creative work

+ Make clear presentations internally and to clients

+ Deputise in the absence of the Creative Partners

+ Question and challenge design briefs and solve design problems creatively

+ Thorough knowledge of print processes and production

+ Strong organizational and time management skills

+ Ability to recognise own and other’s strengths and weaknesses

+ Promote the agency brand and tone of voice
