Position: Web Designer

Location: Manchester

Salary: 18-25k

Our client is a Digital Agency based in Manchester. They are made up of an expert SEO team, a creative marketing department, experienced web developers and innovative web designers. They are looking to add a Web Designer to the team.

The ideal candidates will have around 2 years of experience in an agency environment. They will be a self-starter who’s ready to work both independently and as part of a bigger team. Outside of technical skills, they are looking for someone with a visual flair & logical thinking. Someone who knows what it takes to make a project feel good and someone who has the right work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and help build bespoke websites from scratch
  • Working with cross-discipline teams, you will liaise with Project Managers to deliver projects within agreed time and budget constraints
  • Contribute your own ideas and features to projects alongside time estimates

Preferable Skills

  • HTML5
  • CSS/CSS3
  • UX/UI Design
  • Building websites on WordPress
  • JavaScript (jQuery) ( basic understanding at minimum )

Beneficial

  • PHP
  • MySQL
  • Node.js/NPM
  • Git / Gulp
  • Knowledge of SEO
