The company brief:
This company pride themselves on empowering their staff to get involved in the design process and welcome exciting, new ideas to impact on their designs, in a positive way. They are predominantly a design-led company who work on a range of residential, retail, hospitality and office projects. They are now looking to take on a new Architectural Assistant / Architect to join their team.
Your new role:
As an Architectural Assistant / Architect, you will need to work closely with the team to ensure projects run smoothly. Additionally, you will need to work directly with clients to determine and ensure their requirements are met, producing detailed designs and documentation. You will also need to liaise with various professionals too, participating in occasional site visits too.
- Good knowledge of ArchiCAD if preferable but not essential.
- Design-led focus.
- Previous experience in an Architectural Assistant/Architect role is preferable.
- Good knowledge of digital graphics programs, such as Adobe Suite.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Good design detail.
