Creative Artworker (Maternity Cover)

Shakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking a Creative Artworker (Maternity Cover) to support the Design team in providing in-house design and artworking for the Communications team and Shakespeare’s Globe as a whole, for the purpose of promoting and engaging audiences with all aspects of the Globe’s activities.
The successful candidate will be able to quickly make an impact in our small but very busy Design team. They will have experience of working within a creative artworker role with a high level of competence designing for both print and digital as well as an instinct for excellent design. They will have the ability to work promptly and accurately to deadlines, take a high degree of responsibility for their own time management, and be able to provide solutions but also take instruction where required.
The role requires someone who is motivated to add value on a creative basis, but who would also be happy in a production heavy role. Proven experience of varied digital artworking is essential. Although the Creative Artworker needs to be able to work in our London offices for the majority of the time, we are happy to discuss flexible working options with the right candidate. This is a fixed-term, maternity cover role for up to 12 months from January 2019.
