What you’ll do…
Born and bred online, we know how much graphic design and ideas matter. The senior designer will own these values with a solid understanding of online and offline media as well as the ability to champion great creative concepts and world class graphic design, you’ll bring beautiful solutions to complex problems. You’ll work with a team of creatives, designers, writers, filmmakers & producers in a fast-paced work environment.
Based out of Xero UK’s London office, you’ll be part of The Hub, Xero’s internal creative and design department. You’ll report to the UK Creative Lead and you’ll work closely with the regional marketing team to define and execute on their advertising and marketing needs. You’ll have well-honed skills and a solid understanding of online and offline media and be a champion for great creative concepts and world class graphic design.
You’ll be a Xero brand guardian and be able to work with marketing to refine briefs then develop concepts, present and produce your ideas through to delivery; crafting visual and interactive design solutions for Xero.com and related web campaigns as well as brochures, t-shirts, posters and swag (freebies) amongst other things.
What you’ll bring…
You’ll have, ideally, around 5+ years of Design or Advertising Agency experience, backed up by a design/creative based degree and an in-depth knowledge of the creative product.
You’ll be well-versed in both print and digital creative design with experience of bringing concepts and designs to a wide variety of different projects. With experience of a broad range of creative approaches and a high degree of fluency with the Adobe Creative Suite, you’ll deliver high quality outputs across a wide range of media. Additionally, experience in the art direction of photo shoots is highly desirable as well as exposure to big brands.
You’ll have the ability and willingness to collaborate with team members around the globe and share ideas. To be effective in this role, you’ll be inclusive at all times and have a strong team orientation with the practical ability to work to and deliver against tight deadlines. You will be comfortable working both autonomously but also under the direction of the Creative Lead.
