Seated in the edgy London studio of an award-winning global design agency, this Account Director position awaits an ambitious client lead who projects confidence and is eager to develop their skills and grow others.
Their client kitty includes iconic FMCG brands to entrepreneurs and brand creators for whom they produce branding, corporate identity and packaging design. Building strong relationships is key to this role, building trust and advocacy for the agency and thereby growing the business.
Key responsibilities:
Brand Centricity
- Developing and leveraging strategic understanding of the client’s business and brands
- Building full knowledge of a clients’ long term marketing plans
- Building the strategic case for the design solution
Client Relationships
- Develop and deliver deep financial, structural and emotional bonds with clients
- Build confidence and trust within the client base in order to grow client advocacy
- Identify and build a plan to unlock organic growth
Creativity
- Responsible for the highest quality of creative briefs
- Challenge the teams to get to outstanding creative work on every clients business
Commercial Acumen
- Fully understand the commercial objectives of clients and how they relate to the agency’s business plan
- Partner with clients to create new propositions based on client insight
- Partner with key procurement contacts and manage the client P&L
Communication & Leadership
- Communicate at all global levels with confidence and clarity
- Deliver strong pitches, client presentations and influence results
- Mentor, lead and inspire the internal teams effectively and responsibly
