The British Museum is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Artworker to join its Marketing team. Within this role you will deliver artwork for developed visual approaches for marketing, advocacy and income-generating design projects, both print and digital.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Production of high-quality print ready artwork across design projects, and roll out in multiple formats from developed creative concepts by Graphic Designers
- Production of high-quality digital production solutions for digital advertising for marketing (including third party website advertising and film editing for digital ads).
- Production of key collateral (both print and digital) for advocacy and income generating design for departments such as Development, Membership, Events, Learning and National Partnerships, and Curatorial.
- Liaise with external suppliers (printers and contractors) in supply of artwork and digital files.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, the successful candidate will have fastidious attention to detail, extensive experience of using InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, and in-depth knowledge of all types of print, pre-press and production processes. We are looking for someone who has good interpersonal skills, and organisation skills, with an ability to work in a busy environment on several project simultaneously whilst keeping to tight deadlines and within budgets.
