Lead Digital Designer
We’re recruiting for a newly created lead role with a global beauty brand focussed on developing their overall brand vision and digital communications.
It’s an exciting time to be joining the business in a pivotal and influential role. Part of this person’s remit will be to lead the redesign of the new website, evaluate and improve all digital activity and content, and start to build and mentor a new digital design team.
Working with key stake holders in the business, this person will be responsible for ensuring that digital design-led thinking is at the forefront of campaigns and all digital projects are best in class, enhancing the customer experience and ultimately building a stronger brand. You will need to be first and foremost a visual person but with an in-depth understanding of UX and digital technologies.
Our ideal candidate should have significant experience in a digital/e-commerce environment and be an established lead, able to manage projects from conception to delivery. We need someone who is confident articulating, demonstrating and presenting ideas and digital treatments for key projects and bring everyone involved along with them.
Our ideal candidate:
A senior with significant experience in a digital design environment, in-house or agency.
Previous experience designing full-scale web sites for fashion/retail/beauty brands.
Strong ability to work conceptually and commercially, with brand and business objectives central to creative solutions.
Elevated taste levels and an immaculate eye for detail.
Able to successfully manage and deliver project workloads and time lines in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication skills at all levels.
