WHAT TO EXPECT

The Digital Assets team residing within Marketing, Sales and Services is the primary centre of competence at Jaguar Land Rover are responsible for the creation of all CGI digital assets and digital media to support product launch communications activities across multiple business functions for consumer facing content.

The Digital Assets team is defined into three core areas of competence; Development, Model Production and Imagery Production. Each area is responsible for pioneering and executing its distinct function aligned to core JLR and Digital Assets strategy, objectives and programme deliverables.

In your new role as a Pipeline and Process Developer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving the existing pipeline, tools, and processes within the Digital Assets Group. You’ll research new production methods and replace existing ones, holding accountability for optimal quality and supporting colleagues to achieve department goals.

To achieve success in your new role, you’ll:

  • Collaborate with Production Supervisors and Artists to develop and maintain toolsets that will improve existing processes
  • Ensure active maintenance of pipelines
  • Provide support when it comes to technical issues

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll be joining is from the computer-generated imagery or games production industries, bringing expert knowledge of programming and scripting (C++, C#, Python, Java, Actionscript, or MEL) and Maya / 3DSMax or equivalent. You’ll understand the computer-generated image production process and you’ll be experienced when it comes to working within defined processes and technical standards

You’ll need to be:

  • An expert when it comes to CGI
  • A keen and skilled programmer
  • Highly creative, but able to work to technical standards and with a defined approach
