WHAT TO EXPECT
The Digital Assets team residing within Marketing, Sales and Services is the primary centre of competence at Jaguar Land Rover, responsible for the creation of all CGI digital assets and digital media to support product launch communications activities across multiple business functions for consumer facing content.
The Digital Assets team is defined into three core areas of competence; Development, Model Production and Imagery Production. Each area is responsible for pioneering and executing its distinct function aligned to core JLR and Digital Assets strategy, objectives and programme deliverables.
In your new role as a Model Creation Production Supervisor, your primary focus will be to supervise and support Production Team members, ensuring that key product data model deliverables, including geometric data preparation, soft surface modelling, rules engine configuration, colour and material application, and export of models to required formats are carried out in line with Digital Asset Group technical standards.
To achieve success, you’ll:
- Plan and allocate resources in conjunction with the Operations Team
- Work with the Data Preparation Team to ensure standards are clear and easy to use
- Accept delivery of build inputs and indicate if data is sufficient enough to complete build
- Support and guide Production Team members
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You’ll be an expert in computer-generated imagery, with extensive experience of data preparation and the use of modelling software including Autodesk Maya, ideally backed up by coding skills in Python, C++, and UE4. You’ll also be an experienced manager, capable of managing a skilled team of Product Artists, as well as external suppliers.
You’ll need to be:
A CGI expert, specifically within data management and preparation
An exceptional manager, who can guide, supervise, and motivate
