Sales Executive - Designer Furniture
A Sales Executive opportunity has arisen with a contemporary furniture brand at its Chelsea showroom. The company is Internationally recognised for high quality, hand crafted designer furniture. This makes a great opportunity for a furniture aficionado to join the team and to expand sales with retail and trade clients.
Based in the stylish and contemporary showroom the role will function to meet clients as well as attend external client meetings when required. Duties will involve:
Meeting and greeting customers that visit the Showroom.
Offering a design consultation and in-depth technical advice on the furniture collection and customisable options
Build and maintain ongoing relationships with trade and retail clients
Actively listen to and engage customers , using appropriate selling skills to match the customer’s needs, and ensure their decisions build long-term relationships.
Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
Maintain accurate inventory and store goods, quality control.
Provide support to the Showroom Manager in implementing programs and execute operational and organizational objectives.
Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
Attending external client visits to offer a design consultation when required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Attitude to problem solving and ability to handle stress
Polite and customer oriented with a positive and enthusiastic approach
Ability to analyse and understand the market and detect client's needs;
Sales experience in luxury retail preferably designer furniture
Good IT skills – Word, Excel, Outlook
This role will involve working 5 days a week and will include weekends. If working on a Saturday or Sunday you will be given 2 days off during the week. 9am – 5.30pm. Competitive salary and commission/bonuses.
