Middleweight Designer - Retail
A great opportunity for a Middleweight Designer to gain some brilliant portfolio worthy work on some of the world's largest retail brands. Working alongside a lively collaborative team you will learn loads and have fun!
We are looking at this initially being a fixed term contract of 3 months with a view to a permanent role.
Working within a lively, buzzy studio in North Kent, the agency have a number of exciting retail accounts and work across all their interiors and PoP. The role does require someone that is technically very strong but is also able to use their creative vision to produce faultless retail solutions.
In brief what we need:
We need a middleweight designer, or maybe a designer on their second role, someone who wants to settle into a growing studio/business. This will be offered on a 3 month temp to perm basis.
- The ideal candidate will have very good Adobe CS skills, Vectorworks (or AutoCad or similar) Vectorworks training can be given, provided you have 2D experience.
- We are looking for someone who preferably has some knowledge of 3D i.e. Cinema 4D or similar,
- Ideally we want someone who can make the best use from space planning
- A positive, lively team player
You will be working in a team of Designers alongside Senior and Middleweights therefore will have plenty of opportunity to take your career up a notch and have strong mentors to learn from. They are a highly collaborative team, that work hard but also enjoy having their music on, a few games on the pool table at lunchtime etc
What's the minimum you need to apply?
Solid commercial experience working with CS
Bags of enthusiasm and drive
Experience of working on retail / interior/ events space planning
Ability to manage your own project from brief through to completion
