The Design Director vacancy is a vital hire for the agency.
The agency are looking for a candidate that comes with senior branding experience. This is around the 10-15 years experience mark within this industry. As mentioned before, sector isn't limited, so the broader the sector and channel experience, the better! If you're coming with a wealth of experience in just one sector, then come with a passion and depth of understanding of branding, and they will asses your desire to branch out.
The Design Director will be in a senior leadership position, and heavily client facing. It is essential this is present in your most recent experience, and an area of your work that you enjoy and show real passion in.
This means you'd be coming with an easy but well informed manner, a natural relationship builder, commercial acumen and a desire to grow and develop talent internally. This in turn, will carve the way for the Design Directors personal development.
The reporting line currently, is dotted into the Executive Creative Director. The Creative Director level is held for the Design Director to grow into. A desire to develop your personal career is something that will also be heavily assessed at interview.
