We are looking for a midweight designer with previous experience in creating marketing collateral and infographics, who is looking for a next step up in their career. Working for this prestigious global financial publishing firm you will sit within their central marketing department, working alongside fast-paced editors and marketers based in New York, London and Hong Kong. After recently rebranding they are looking for a designer who is able to take the new brand guidelines and creatively apply them to external and internal communications.
The purpose of this role is to:
Develop marketing collateral for the global marketing department including brochures, whitepapers, adverts, flyers, newsletters, campaigns, etc
Work closely with editorial and marketing to develop design solutions
Create infographics to promote their data offerings
Develop proposal documentations for the commercial department
Instigate ideas, design and create collateral which can be used on social media
Challenge current design conventions and constantly look at how to represent and strengthen the brand through design initiatives
This role is autonomous however it does require the candidate to be a team player and demonstrate confidence working with commercial and editorial colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Previous experience in an in-house design role
Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Proficient with Microsoft office, design and creation of PPT decks.
Ability to work on multiple projects from original concept through to completion within brand guidelines and using existing templates
A desire of developing and keeping up with design trends and bringing contemporary design solutions to corporate communications
Ability to work towards tight deadlines
Keen, enthusiastic and a flexible attitude
Ability to work within a team environment and be a team player
A strong portfolio that show skills and strength
Any experience with digital design would be beneficial as well as knowledge or experience using Content Management systems.
