Right hand person needed for the creative director in an agency "on the up" in consumer branding/packaging design world!
This agency has a name that's pretty well known, and a consumer branding team which is busy, growing, but lacks a design director. The creative director is snowed under, and they really want to find someone who can take a share of the mentoring of the less experienced designers, client liaison, but who still loves being a designer themselves too.
They're based in South West London - only 10 minutes' walk from the nearest tube, though, so they're not in the middle of nowhere. And the studio space is really lovely - a converted Victorian building, full of light.
And they're working with consumer brands from the FMCG, Spirits, Confectionery and more - so you definitely will not be bored, nor will you get stuck on only one category.
The role is for a graphic designer, not a product designer, though - so you may have worked in a few of the other consumer branding/packaging agencies in London previously, or perhaps you've just returned to the UK from a spell working abroad - they're open to people who may not have worked on UK consumer brands for a while - they can see beyond this!
So you'll get the level of responsibility here that you might have been craving, and you'll get some great projects to work on and help in leading with the design team, AND you get an agency which is having a really good year so far (and not all agencies can say that about 2018!).
