Position: PR Senior Account Executive

Location: London

Salary: 25-27k

Our client is a well-established and award-winning PR agency based in central London who specialise in the cooperate sector. They provide effective and efficient public relations services that span all areas of: business software, cloud computing, workforce collaboration, retail technology, financial services, customer engagement, e-commerce, digital marketing, channel strategy. They are looking for a Senior Account Executive, ideally someone with b2b tech experience.

As a SAE you should exhibit creativity, independence and a continued hunger to learn. You must also start showing the knowledge and confidence required to consult to clients and within the team. As an SAE, you should act as a positive influence within the company culture, and should show a commitment to supporting and driving forward the business.

Senior Account Executives will consistently show their ongoing excitement for delivering brilliant and original work. SAEs are expected to use their experience to develop bigger ideas for client programmes, from time-to-time leading brainstorms / creative sessions for smaller pieces of account work.

A good SAE should bring proactive ideas to the table - of how to do things better, how to secure improved results and ways excite clients. They should also make suggestions of positive activities and initiatives within the company. SAEs will bring new ideas to their colleagues and the business more generally, sharing interesting things they’ve seen in the industry. Taking the step up from AE means the SAE should show greater ownership of ideas and the creative process, and ultimately exhibit a responsibility for bringing concepts to fruition – as pitches, content or new initiatives.

Senior account executives will have a clear ability to relate to both clients and colleagues. They should be comfortable articulating themselves inside and outside the business, and also be proactive in how they work with clients and colleagues.

As a SAE you should show a passion for supporting the development of AEs and fellow SAEs. You should help new hires to integrate into the business, whether in the little day-to-day things, or more strategically in helping them to understand clients and the nature of the business.

All members of the team should be recognised as playing a positive part in the culture. SAEs are expected to be willing to go over and above for the business when it matters - networking opportunities, periods of busy work and supporting team members. But it’s also key they show an enthusiasm for connecting with colleagues and clients in social and more banter-ful occasions.
