From their riverside workshop in Berkshire, this company create elegant lighting to grace gorgeous hotels, restaurants and private residences worldwide. Their designs combine lightness and strength, exquisitely realised in hand-cut crystals, delicate metal chains, fine silks and hand-wrought metalwork.

They are now looking for an organised, diligent and articulate Sales Account Coordinator who can build relationships with key people in each client organisation and establish how to unlock the relationship / parameters that will drive future order growth. You will be responsible for answering client telephone and email enquiries, taking orders, quote requests and payments where needed and offering follow-ups as appropriate. In addition to this, you will raise quotations, revise quotations, raise invoices and enter orders. Finally, you will represent the Company at trade shows (e.g. Decorex) and host showroom drop-in appointments.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with key people in each client organisation
  • Manage commercial arrangements for each trade account
  • Update the companys CRM system
  • Become an expert on their products and answer clients' telephone and e-mail enquiries
  • Project-manage delivery of orders and follow up after orders are delivered to ensure client satisfaction
  • Build target lists of existing customers and greenfield customers, growing the companys mailing list

Candidates will:

  • Bring a high level of energy and operating tempo to the role
  • Have experience of delivering excellent account management and sales administration
  • Be organised, consistent and have excellent attention to detail
  • Be confident, pro-active and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Have an excellent telephone manner and experience of client service
  • Have fantastic verbal and written communication skills
  • Have excellent IT skills and be an expert user of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Windows Explorer
  • Be ready to grow with them - this role would suit someone who is looking for the opportunity to build a career
