Creative Director - health and well being (advertising)
We're on the lookout for an experienced Creative Director for a fabulous growing creative advertising agency based in central London. Experience and knowledge of the healthcare industry is essential.
The Overview: The role will sit within this leading full service communications agency, the agency is mainly focused on health and well-being but they also work with brands that are not purely pharmaceutical spanning health food, charity, sports etc. An agency that stretches boundaries both across creative execution and commercial approach, with a great team ethos and plenty of fabulous projects to work on.
The wider company uniquely work from lab to life, meaning right from the initial discovery of a new possible molecule which can cure a disease for example, right through testing phases, trials, bringing it to market and launching it. The Creative and PR side are absolutely key and are involved throughout this entire process, helping to bring awareness to the disease during the testing phase, creating a brand, and launching them (in short). This process can take 2 years sometimes, running along side lots of larger or smaller projects. Its a busy and highly rewarding studio environment with lots of great communication with the client / product itself.
The Role: This role will sit within this large and growing creative team made up of video, digital, artwork, art direction, design, traffic and copywriting. The primary function of the new Creative Director is to help create beautiful, useful, informative, compelling, innovative, intuitive experiences – across a wide range of projects and channels.
The Creative Director will have the chance to be conceptually creative as well as overseeing the wider team, driving innovation, and working into a fabulous ECD. You'll be happy client facing, working on pitches, bringing a zest for life and that extra spark of energy to all you meet. You'll be an inspirational leader, who can handle a whole range of different characters with the same patience and passion, picking up on weaknesses and helping to guide people, but also celebrating strengths and achievement. You'll have a deep understanding of the advertising world along with a strong sense of commercialism, teamed with a desire to be the best.
The Studio: They have a state of the art studio in Central London. Very modern and creative with touch screens and high tech, every room is decorated by a member of the team and feels super quirky and is a huge draw for creatives.
