Temporary studio manager
A studio at the forefront of virtual reality software are looking for an organised and adaptable temporary studio manager, who can assist them in setting up their new London-based studio over four weeks (16/10/17 - 10/11/17). As the temp Studio Manager will be taking over from another temporary worker, they will be able to have a two-day handover of systems that are in place, and a run-through of the software the office will be using. This will take place on the 12th – 13th October preferably. Duties in this role will include the day-to-day organisation of the London office, including general admin tasks and upkeep of the studio, diary management for the office’s creative director and other team members, management of the office’s projects schedule, contact with clients via call, email and in person, involvement with plans for the studio refit, management of budget, management of expenses, post collection and organisation, and potential assistance with design of presentations. Knowledge of Google Suite, Asana, Team Gantt and Expensify is desirable (full training can be given). This is an exciting opportunity to be involved at the very beginning of the setup of a new tech design studio, and to have some impact on the establishment of the practice. Someone with an interest in virtual reality and tech development would therefore be beneficial, but not necessary at this stage. There will be the possibility of interviewing for a more permanent role, if the candidate is interested.
