Graphic Designer (Permanent Appointment, based in Chelsea)
Transformed through a £23.75 million investment, the museum’s mission is to connect people with the British Army and its soldiers. Through five new galleries the public can explore what it’s like to be a soldier, why we fought in conflicts – past and present; and discover British society’s sometimes conflicted relationship with the army. The Museum holds world-class collections relating to the British Army and is supported by a well-developed Collections facility at Stevenage.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and driven 2D Graphic Designer to manage the implementation and development of the new brand across the Museum and all customer touch points. This role, working in conjunction with the Museum’s Graphics Officer, is responsible for delivering highly creative and effective graphic design for marketing, print and displays. One of the key responsibilities is to ensure all work meets the Museum’s visual identity criteria and is delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering on a wide range of projects and briefs using traditional and digital media, ranging from marketing campaigns and collateral to displays and signage.
